Technical Diva!

So along with being a domestic diva, I have added technical diva to the list!

As you can see to the right of my page, I have add a twitter feed and a facebook share button to my site! So if there is anyone who really does read this and perhaps finds it interesting. You can share it with your friends on facebook! Also on facebook, I've added my site to my notes import! So every blog I write will show up!

So this is a little test run if you will to see how everything has worked out.

My husband will think I'm even hotter now!

The Eve of Christmas Eve...

So tomorrow is Christmas Eve...

I'm kgb_ing away. The kids are asleep...well two are...Brittany has been holed up in her room all day. She came out to eat breakfast and came out and got her scissors. I asked her what she was doing and she said nothing...hmmm...Clearly she's up to something, probably Christmasy.

Stuck on a question, waiting for help.

I'm excited about Christmas. I ended up finding some good gifts for the kids. You know the Domestic Diva is the Bargain Queen!

Blogging from the Wii!!

Good Morning!

Well like the title says-I'm blogging sitting here the couch through the Wii. It is awesome!!!

Last night I was sitting around and saw the Wii was glowing, which, if I'm not mistaken, means that we have a message in the inbox. So I went and checked and it said the internet on the Wii is now free! So of course, I immediately downloaded it!

Early Morning...

Well good morning!

Early morning start I guess you could say. The baby woke up at around four and when I finally got him back to sleep, I couldn't go back to sleep. Ha. I'll pay for it in the middle of the day when I'm trying to watch some movie and fall asleep.

I'm exhausted beyond belief and cannot really sleep right now...maybe I just need to go ahead and eat some breakfast.

Speaking of breakfast, Chloe is eating cereal and drinking milk again! Praise baby Jesus!

Alex IV's Story

So...

I've had the baby. Alex Russ IV is a month old! But I owe some friends the story of his birth.

It was rather quick...

I went in on the Friday before Halloween to get set up for my induction that was scheduled the following Monday. I was having contractions so the nurse said I could go back to triage and get checked out. This would be my fourth time in triage.

The nurse checked me said I was a thin four centimeters, but was having few contractions so I could go home, but there was a chance I'd be back later that night.

Still No Baby!

So,

It's been two weeks since I last blogged and there is still no baby. In that two weeks time, I have been to the hospital for a third time! I thought the third time would be the time charm. But since this baby is Alex IV I'm thinking maybe the fourth time is a charm?!

I have been having contractions still. Sometimes steady, sometimes far apart. Sometimes none at all.

I have another tomorrow. We will talk about possible induction options. I'm not really wanting to be induced. But if it is better for the baby, then I'm all for it.

Home Stretch...

So, we had a doctor's appointment today! All is ok. I did test positive for Group B Strep, but I'm on antibiotics, and the the doctor said they will have me on antibiotics through an iv during labor.

Sent Home...Again...

So we went back to the hospital yesterday. And came home a few hours later.

I took it pretty hard for some reason. I was crying hysterically and was depressed for most of the day. I calmed down eventually, but it was rough. I didn't want to talk about it or watch anything with babies in it. Just slept and stayed in bed for the day.

The Waiting Game!!!

So....
Here we are. I just got home from my doctor's appointment, I'm officially off the procardia! Which means the contractions are going to pick back up. So, I guess that kind of sucks, but it's all part of pregnancy right?

Well, I got the living area of the house nice and clean, and it smells like vanilla! But Brutus came running through here with his muddy paws...grrr...so now that the I've got that out of the way, I'm just trying to relax and put my feet up and rest for the rest of the time being. However long that is. We're so excited!

Thought He Was on the Way.....

So, I know I'm late, but a lot has been going on. I will TRY to make it a brief blog, because I'm doing a little bit of cleaning, not much I promise.

So, Friday evening I started feeling, what I thought may have been contractions, they kept coming so we decided to go ahead and head to the labor and delivery triage so I could get checked out.
