Happy Holidays! This week is Thanksgiving, of course. We've decided to make it as hassle-free as possible. We've ordered a Cajun Fried Turkey from Dickey's. We usually don't get turkey because none of us really eat it, but....it's cajun fried.

I'll probably make a few desserts and some sides. I need to go and see if I can find a nice table cloth or something.

I'm so tired. We had some drinks last night, I slept all day today. I still have to wash the dishes.

I'm totally excited about this time of year. People are starting to put their decorations and stuff.

Hi everybody!

It rained like crazy last night! Thunder and lightening and all kinds of whatnot!

Last week was crazy for me...study-wise; but now that I've gotten two test and my essay out the way, I can breathe a little! I was actually able to finish getting the house clean (sort of, still got a little "dusting" here and there but the place is looking good!)

I've got two tests left to take. Government and Math; I may take them both today or not.

I sent my dad a veteran's card today.

I don't generally talk politics. That's just me. I talk about them with Alex and close friends sometimes. But I don't debate with anybody. You know, "if you don't have anything nice to say..."

But, at this profoundly historic time, how could I not?

I will try to be brief. Say my piece, then be done. If you agree great, if not; well, this is my opinion and I have not asked for yours.

Good day! I've been meaning to get on here and catch up for awhile, but hadn't really taken the time out to.

I'm feeling a lot better and so is Chloe. She's getting into even more stuff! We still have a little mucus cough but we're good.

Been having to read a LOT more; play catch up you know since, being sick and having to take care of sick Chloe.

So tomorrow is the big day. I voted in the early voting about two weeks ago! Went ahead and got it done so I can just chill and watch what happens.

Last week my mom sent me an email title Whatever You Like and said she figured we'd all seen the remake the kids did with a positive spin on the song by "I.D." (Of course, it's actually T.I. but hey...)

I had NO idea what she was talking about, I was just amused by the I.D. part.

Today as I was reading through the forums on dfwareamoms.com I notice a post saying, "You Can Vote However You Like".

So, as we all know yesterday was Halloween. How did we spend it. Well, it was definitely scary I'll tell you that.

We spent it in the E.R. Chloe had a fever of 104!
I called my granny and asked if I should take her to the E.R. and she said yes. So then I called her pediatrician and she said to take her to Cooks Children's Hospital in Fort Worth.

Evening all!

Still sick. Chloe has a fever now. Sitting here watching All My Children.

I'm very tired too. Got a little reading done for my classes. Washed some clothes. I can't stay on long because I have to get Chloe something to eat and some Motrin.

Saturday we went to a Fall Festival at the park. It was great! Except for the fact that I was sick. Here are some pics...Enjoy!

Boy am I beat! But it was a good day, sick and all. I've been sick all week, my voice is a hot mess. But my surprise girl's day out with Brittany went very well. First the spa. Ah! Heavenly! First it was our pedicures. They had us in the nice chairs with the water running. No, bubbling. They had the little changing lights. I got this lavender sugar scrub. Then she put warm lotion on my legs and feet and started massaging them. All the while, the chair was on massage. I tell you what, when that lady started working on the toes....I could have passed out from relaxation!

Not feeling too well. Yesterday I got a sickening headache. So painful. It's coming back today. And my voice is all but gone. Very hoarse.
